<p><font size="1"><strong>Eligibility for RMCAAT 2008:</strong></font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1"><strong>(a) Academic:</strong>The candidates must possess (10+2) at school level with mathematics andGraduation (3 years duration) in any subject from any recognizedUniversity or Graduation (10+2+3 years duration) in any subject withmathematics as one subject from any recognized University, with atleast 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates),without any approximation in the Graduate Examination.</font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1">However, the candidate appearing for the Graduationqualifying examination will also be permitted to appear in theadmission test but their admission will be provisional, subject tofurnishing the degree of qualifying examination with the prescribedeligibility by 30th July 2008.</font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1"><strong>(b) Domicile:</strong>The RMCAAT-2008 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan domicile only.The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidate will be ascertainedas per the following criteria. Use the relevant form for the same.</font></p> <ol><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">The candidate himself/herself or any of his/her natural parents (father/mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. OR</font></p></li><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">Candidatehas studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educationalinstitutions in Rajasthan for the proceeding five years up to andincluding the year in which he/she has passed the qualifyingexamination. OR</font></p></li><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following:</font></p></li><p align="justify"><font size="1">(i) Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan).</font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1">(ii)Undertaking/Corporation/Improvement Trust/ Municipal Boards/ PanchyatSamities/ Co-operative Bodies duly constituted by the Government ofRajasthan. OR</font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1">(iii) Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act., incorporated in Rajasthan.</font></p><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">Candidateis a son/daughter of an employee of any of the Universities inRajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or EngineeringColleges - Bhilwara, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jhalawar, who hasput in at least fiver years service on the date of submission ofapplication in any of the above bodies. OR</font></p></li><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">Candidateis a son/daughter of an employee of Central Government or Institutionsof the Central Government including Public Sector Undertaking orCorporation and who is on the regular rolls and is serving in the Stateof Rajasthan on the date of application. OR</font></p></li><li><p align="justify"><font size="1">Candidateis a son/daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, service inDefence/Central Government Service/ Public Sector undertaking/NationalInstitutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three yearsservice on the last date for submission of application irrespective ofhis/her place of posting provided a certificate submitted by theemployee from the employer to his effect stating the State of originand the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry ofservice.</font></p></li></ol><font size="1"><br></font><p><font size="1"><strong>Note:</strong></font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">(i) Ex-Servicemen(Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthanorigin for eligibility of their children in these categories. The Stateof origin and hometown as entered in the discharge certificate shallonly be accepted as proof in respect of the above.</font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">(ii)For wards of defence personnel from other states but serving in thestate of Rajasthan, the domicile condition is waived off to enable themto appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota.However, they would not be eligible for the above mentioned concessions.</font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1"><strong>Rajasthan Master of Computer Application Admission Test (RMCAAT) 2008 Application Form</strong></font> </p><p><font size="1"><strong>RMCAAT 2008 Application Form:</strong>The Application Forms shall be available in the notified branches ofPunjab National Banks, only, (list attached) on the payment of Rs.1000/- .This includes the RMCAAT fees.</font></p> <p><font size="1"><strong>RMCAAT 2008 Admit Card:</strong></font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Admit card will be sent well in time. In case of non receipt of ADMIT CARD by <strong>9th June</strong>(Monday) 2008, you must inform the Coordinator RMCAAT immediately bytelegram giving your RMCAAT Form no. & Registration number, mailingaddress and test centre.</font></p><p><font size="1"><strong>RMCAAT 2008 Exam Pattern:</strong></font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Thetest will carry 200 marks consisting of 200 questions. For each correctanswer the candidate will be awarded 1 mark. There will be no negativemarking.</font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Allthe questions will be objective type with 4 alternate answers. Level oftest would be 10+2 in respect of Mathematical Ability and ElementaryComputer Knowledge.
