A student with an Engineering or Sciencedegreein any field/area can seek admission into any other field/areaforhigher studies.</font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1">For instance, acandidate who has completed B.Tech.in Electronics/Electrical/CivilEngineering can apply forM.Tech./M.S./Ph.D in Computer Science, VLSI& Embedded Systems,andBioinformatics.</font></p><p><font size="1"><strong>IIIT Post GraduateEntrance Examination (IIIT PGEE 2009): </strong></font> </p><p align="justify"><font size="1">An all-India examination to test the preparedness ofthe applicants will be held on <strong>15th February,2009</strong>. <br></font></p><p align="justify"><font size="1">Theexamination will be held at Hyderabad and a number of major citiesinthe country depending on the number of applicants from each region.Theentrance examination will consist of two papers. Paper I testthegeneral aptitude of the candidate and will consist ofobjectivequestions from Mathematics, Programming, and LogicalReasoning.
