Madhya Pradesh All India Dental & Medical Admission Test(MP DMAT) is an examination conducted by Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges in Madhya Pradesh(APDMC)for admission to MBBS and BDS courses of private dental & medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh. Admission to 50% of the seats in the private medical and dental colleges of Madhya Pradesh is through DMAT. DMAT is given by a large number of candidates from Madhya Pradesh and rest of India interested in doing MBBS/BDS from private colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

There are four medical and eleven dental private colleges in Madhya Pradesh admission to which is done through DMAT. The number of seats available through DMAT in MBBS courses is 214 and in BDS courses is 439. Therefore the competition for these seats is quite tough and a lot of preparation is needed to get through DMAT.

Availability of Application forms for DMAT 2010:

The forms for DMAT are expected to be available in April through selected branches of State Bank of India, participating colleges and through post by sending a request along with a demand draft to APDMC. Candidates can also apply online through the website www.mpapdmc.com and then print the form and send it along with demand draft to APDMC.

Important Dates(Tentative):

Availability of application forms-April 1st week, 2010
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms-June 3rd week, 2010
Date of examination-June end,2010
Declaration of result-July 2nd week, 2010

Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should be atleast 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2010. Further a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemsitry and Biology. Those appearing for 10+2 examination in 2010 can also apply.

Exam Pattern:

The duration of the examination will be 3 hours and it contains 200 multiple choice type questions which will be divided as follows:
Physics� 50 questions
Chemistry� 50 questions
Botany� 50 questions
Zoology� 50 questions

There will be no negative marking.
