Advertisements Christian Medical College Vellore has announced the exam dates for CMC Vellore 2012 which will be conducted in the month of May 2012. CMC Vellorewill be held on Friday, May 18, 2012.CMC Vellore Entrance exam is conducted by Christian Medical College Vellore, in order to provide admission for various UG, PG and Diploma level medical programs offered by CMC Vellore. Programs offered are MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, AHS Degree program, Diploma in Nursing, AHS Diploma Course, Pharmacology, MSc & DCPC and Medical Higher Specialty programs (DM & M.Ch) in various disciplines.CMC Vellore 2012 Eligibility CriteriaFor more details and information on eligibility criteria, please visit official website.Application Procedure for CMC Vellore 2012For more details and information on application procedure, please visit official website.CMC Vellore 2012 Paper PatternThe test papers are all in English and of the 'objective' or multiple choices answer type. * For the degree courses: (MBBS, BSc(N) & AHS Degree Courses) there are 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (120 minutes total) and 120 questions in General Ability including Speed and Accuracy and a few questions on issues of current topical interest (70 minutes). The General Ability paper will be in two sections. Section I will have 60 questions to be answered in 50 minutes and Section II will have 60 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. The whole exam will be 3 hours 10 minutes long. * For the Diploma courses: The examination consists of 25 questions each in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 15 questions in General ability. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. * For other subjects: where a background in science is not required, the non-science paper will have 90 questions including English, General Ability, speed and accuracy and a few questions on issues of current topical interest. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. * For Medical Higher Specialty programs: The duration of the paper is 1? hours (120 questions). All candidates who wish to take the written test are required to be in their assigned seats at the time, date and place stipulated on the Hall ticket. No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the stipulated examination commencement time.
