Serial Blasts in Bangalore - 3 Confirmed Dead

Seven Serial blasts have occurred around 1350 hours onwards today (25.07.08) at six different places in the city (two blasts in Madivala). The locations of the blast are �

1. Two Blasts in Madiwala. First one in turn in front of St John�s Medical College (one lady is confirmed killed).
2. Langford road
3. In front of Mallya Hospital
4. On Nayandahalli village road (Mysore road)
5. Area in Richmond Town &
6. Area in Koramangala - Behind the famous Forum Mall
The type of explosives used is still not known. Police are investigating the spots.

Mobile Networks Jammed:
After the blasts, the mobile networks in the city got jammed. There is a situation of panic in all the IT / BPO sectors in the city.

No targetted attacks on IT Sector:
Police have reported that there is no targeted attack on IT Sector or any specific establishment.

Essential precaution to be undertaken by everyone:

Any unidentified object found and noticed, BE NOT TAMPERED WITH AT ANY COST.
The area of this unidentified object be isolated by some tape so that nobody goes towards the same.
Inform the nearest Police about this piece of information.
Await the bomb detection squad to arrive in location and do the work.
Alert your own security and deploy additional strength to ensure that no unidentified vehicles are parked around your premises.
Also stock up necessary first-aid kit at suitable points within the premises.
The fire fighting equipment be kept in state of serviceability.
