Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Web Content
Analyst to support Airtrade Internationalâs Web Development team starting as
early as in August 2008 in Bangalore. To become a star performer in vayama
you must be passionate about working in start-up fast pace work environment
of an entrepreneurial product company and interested in working within a
team and to present good content for web development. In your role as the
âWeb Content analystâ the primary responsibilities would be to research,
analyze, review, proof read and recommend corrections. Secondary
responsibilities include managing of all content for the website associated
with a large Online International Travel Ticket Booking company. The
position is well suited for experienced individuals in text editing along
with some web development knowledge. The positions will report to Sr. IT
Development Manager based in Corporate Headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
â Understand and analyze website update requests from business areas
â Research and collect new content ideas
â Review, Edit and Format all website content material
â Translate business requirements into detailed directions for developers
â Obtain and review content and other items to be updated to websites from
business areas and provide final materials to developers for given requests
â Perform quality checks/ proof read on completed website update and provide
feedback to developers for any necessary corrections
â Update policy/procedure documentation related to website production
processes
â Assist in maintaining the teamâs mailbox, responding and organizing
messages in a timely manner
â Research and propose new solutions to the presentation, search functions,
and other features of the websites
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills:
â Prior work experience in a fast-paced work environment
â Minimum of one year experience in web content management
â Experience gathering requirements from business clients and translating
requirements to web developers
â Excellent verbal and written communication skills
â Ability to proof read and pay special attention to grammar and usage
â Excellent researching, analyzing skills
â Prior web development and/or web content management experience (knowledge
of HTML coding, web development standards and web technologies is
advantageous)
