Job Description
Candidate will be developing next generation,
hi-tech web site with Ajax and multimedia capabilities.
* developing website in PHP/PHP 5.x and MySQL
* Code / SQL query optimization.
* Develop Components, Modules etc on Joomla.
* Develop applications on PHP, Web 2.0 technologies using Joomla as core.
* Knowlede of Payment Gateways - Paypal, 2CO and others.
* Strong in OOPS concept in php5.
* Knowledge of XML Parsers in php
* Joomla template and Joomla customizations
* Good Team player to work with current team members.
* Good English communication to communicate with client if needed.
* Knowledge of Smarty is added advantage.
* Knowledge of Magentocommerce is added advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
PHP/My SQL
---------------
* Strong knowledge and Proficiency in PHP programming based on OOPS approach
and MVC patterns.
* Expertise in designing complex database queries with a multi DB/table
structure.
* Knowledge of common code repositories like PEAR libraries etc.
CMS
------
* Joomla 1.0, 1.5 installation, administration, template development.
* Joomla custom Component Development.
* Active working experience of other Open Source CMSes like Drupal,
oscommerce etc.
JAVASCRIPT
---------------
* Expertise in AJAX concepts.
* Working knowledge of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Prototype, ExtJS
etc.
XHTML / CSS
----------------
* Expert Hand coding skills with developing table less layouts.
* Understanding of Browser compatibilities and standard Compliances
Other Skills required
------------------------
* Knowledge of Linux & Apache
* Working knowledge of unit testing and bug management at module level.
* Exposure to documentation, estimations, project management & designing use
cases.
* Willing to take bottom line responsibility and deliver high quality
output.
* Should have ability to search/customize/code solutions for various

* Creative capability and willingness to learn and engage with new
