Designation BMC Performance Manager Administrator Job Description The role requires end to end implementation and integration of BMC Performance Manager (BPM Portal and Patrol Central Architecture), BEM, SIM, BMC Proactive Net Analytics, BMC Crystal Reporting, Alarmpoint, BMC Atrium CMDB. The role will also develop remote support /process knowledge experience as well. The candidate will get exposure to cross team/cross region collaboration between US and India. The candidate should we willing to work in 8.5 hr shifts (current time ranges are between 6.30 am to 8.30 pm currently) and will involve calls with the US team on some days. The position provides remote support for the systems and will be in an on-call rotation with the team in the U.S. Some major change activities including weekend work. They will help to improve procedures and monitoring, and will work on process automation tasks / scripts. Desired Profile Required Experience: Experience in end to end implementation and integration of BMC Performance Manager (BPM Portal and Patrol Central Architecture), BEM, SIM, BMC Proactive Net Analytics, BMC Crystal Reporting, Alarmpoint, BMC Atrium CMDB Experience in Integration of different monitoring tools such as Nagios, SCOM, Whats Up, OEM with BEM/SIM Experience in creation and updating rules and policies for efficient enrichment and consolidation of events Experience in Integration of BEM/SIM with Remedy for the creation of automatic intelligent incidents. Experience working closely with a UNIX, Linux and Windows server administration teams through the diagnosis and resolution of configuration related issues. Specific hands on experience supporting SUSE and/or AIX in a large (700 servers+ globally) corporate environment. Must have effective verbal and written English communications skills. Must be able to make sound, timely decisions that have positive impact on the resolution of issues and problems. Must be results oriented.
