Job Description Job Profile:
â Provide Oracle Applications support in the following areas: Order
Management, Inventory, Financials, Projects, Fixed Assets, Global Accounting
Engine, Global Intercompany System, Discoverer.
o Setup and configure the modules for new orgs
o Troubles shoot problems.
o Modify the modules as needed turning specific functionality on or off.
â Provide support for Oracle and third party (Optio) reporting tools.
o Write reports using SQL, PL/SQL.
o Use the oracle reporting tools.
o Use a third party tools such as Optio Crystal Reports, Cognos to develop
reports.
â Design and build extensions to or interfaces around the standard Oracle
applications.
o Write custom code or routines that interface with the Oracle database and
the Oracle Applications layer using SQL,PL/SQL, BPEL/Fusion.
â Handle second level oracle applications support calls and other requests
escalated through the helpdesk.
o Use help desk software to record, track and close work tickets.
o Resolve help calls for Oracle applications or reports for users around the
globe.
o Use oracle support and the internet to help close calls.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Profile:
- BE in Engineering/MCA
- 2 years Experience in Oracle Application Support
- Demonstrated skills in SQL. PL/SQL, Scripts & Linux/Unix
- Experience in Oracle Application Development Tools (Toad, Optio, Oracle
Forms/Reports)
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Familiarity with Oracle Support (Metalink) & the Oracle iTar process
- BPEL/Oracle Fusion Middleware experience is a plus
