Designation	Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant
Job Description	AD,Windows 2003/2008, BDD,Exchange 200x, OCS, LMS, LCS, Co-Existence with and Migration from the following systems - Novell GroupWise, Lotus Notes/Domino Should have strong knowledge on at least 3-4 of the mentioned technologies Strong fundamental concepts of Exchange 5.5/2000/2003/2007,UC,LCS Design and installation experience of Exchange 2000/2003/2007 for a minimum of 5000 users Migration from Exchange lower version to higher version. Migration from Lotus Notes to Exchange Sound Knowledge of Migration wizard and other migration tools (MS and third party) Strong Knowledge and concepts of AD Scripting Knowledge The architect should have worked on migration projects or implementation projects. Share point Knowledge is required. MIIS /Inter Org replication tool experience is a plus. Working knowledge on SAN/Storage Good knowledge of exchange / email connectivity (client side) Basic Networking Good communication skills Good documentation skills Roles and Responsibilities Technical * Architects should have a high degree of solution architecture and design capability with deep technical skills in at least 3 or more of the technologies mentioned in the Areas of Section above * Develop architectural/functional design document as part of the consulting/project assignment. * Solving complex, high impact project design, coordination problems * Map product solution and technical information to customer's context; Conduct informal risk analysis * Create local prototype, or proof of concept, to test solution at customer or own site * Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the designed/developed solution * Deliver engagements as technical subject matter expert. Team * Coordinating with internal and external project team members. * Technical leadership on engagements that include other engineers or partners * Provide technical mentoring and development to consultants. Pre-Sales: Rresponsibility to map the business requirements of external customers into appropriate Technology solutions using Microsoft Products and services. * Understand customer environment and define business requirements with BDM and Engagement managers. * Conducting one-to-many presentations to senior management, and the technical architects. * Responsible for building business and winning projects for the Microsoft service lines of AD, Migration, Messaging, MS Server Consolidation and Microsoft BDD. * Preparing customer proposals for supported Microsoft Service Lines. * Preparing response to RFP's with proper technical solutions and showcasing Practice capability. * Be responsible for costing of customized solutions and ensuring implementation within budgets.
Desired Profile	BE/BTech /ME /MTech/MCA/ MSc/ MBA 6-8 Years IT Infrastructure Experience Strong in MS Technology and Products. At least 2-3 years of Design and Consulting Experience will be preferred
