Head/VP/GM-Purchase/Material Mgmt work is The incumbent will be responsible for Planning / scheduling and procurement of raw materials based on monthly business plan. Follow up for all other raw materials vendors and transporters for timely delivery viz a viz production plan. To direct, coordinate and plan the activities of units with respect to receipt, storage and issue of raw materials. Synchronization of raw material purchase activities with requirements of production and accounts. Circulation of stock alert reports weekly, monthly as and when required. Issue of job work orders for raw materials and assuring on time receipt of raw materials.
Up gradation & evaluation of existing vendors, development of new vendors, find out the new sources for the sourced products, cost reduction by way of effective negotiation & substitution and purchase planning etc. The candidate should be a graduate, preferably Mechanical or Electrical engineering with 12-15 years of relevant experience in material function of Consumer Durable industry.
