Head/VP/GM-Domestic Debt work is the Debt Markets IT is part of the Global Banking Markets (GBM) technology team in the RBS IDC. Debt Markets is a team of 150 technologists working on Interest Rate Derivatives, Bond & Credit Derivatives trading systems and realtime Bond pricing systems. Technologists in Debt Markets IT work on all aspects of these systems and are responsible for design, coding and testing of these system, in conjunction with colleagues in London, Asia and to Greenwich USA.
An opportunity for an experienced Project Manager exists which has been created to strengthen the management within Debt Markets.
This project manager will be expected to run a team of between 30-50 people covering a range of development, testing and support activities in the Debt Markets area.
Using their experience of from an Investment Banking arena, the new person will help drive improvements in productivity, increase the value that the IDC teams provide and ensure strong relationships with London and other Debt Market IT centres. They will be expected to instil an investment banking mentality in teams, whilst respecting the local culture and working practices.
