NegativeMarking:Negativemarkingwill
be applied in case ofwrong answers at half ofinverse proportiontothe
number of choicesgiven in the question. Forexample, 1 markquestionwith
4 choices willhave 1/8 as
negativemark,ifansweredwrongly.

PassingCriteria:
Pass: Minimum
50%or more marksinaggregate with 45% or more in individual subjects

First Class: 70%ormore
marksinfirstattempt.
First ClasswithDistinction: 80% or more marks
inthefirstattempt.
Note:
Repeaters will
notbe eligible
forFirstClassandDistinctiontitles.
All thesuccessfulcandidates will be ranked
inorderofmerit.
Candidates havetopass all 3 papers in single attempt
togetthequalification.
Repeaters needtore-register for the examination and
appearforallpapers.
IIBFModeofExamination:Examination
will be conductedbothon-lineand off-line mode as per the
optionexercisedbythecandidates.
DeclarationofResults:Declarationof
the results will be withinfourweeks from the last date
oftheexamination. Candidatesappearingon-line mode will have their
marksat the endof the test, butfor themalso official declaration of
resultswill
bealongwithoff-linecandidates'results.
IssueofCertificate:DBFCertificate,
indicating Order ofMerit,will be issued to thesuccessfulcandidates
within two weeks fromthedate
ofdeclarationofresults.
VerificationofMarks:
No request
forre-valuation ofthecandidate's
paperwillbeentertained.
In case ofoff-line examination, ifthe
candidaterequireshis/her marks to be verified,he/she may
requesttheInstituteaccordingly. The request for verification ofmarks
mustbereceived inthe Institute's Corporate Office at Mumbai
withinonemonthfrom thedate of the declaration
oftheexaminationresults.
The candidatewillhave to pay asum of Rs.150/- for
theverification of marks foreachsubject of the diplomaexamination.
Thepayment should be made bymeansof MICR crossed Demand Draftdrawn
infavour of " Indian InstituteofBanking & Finance"
andmadepayable at Mumbai. Thecandidatesshould write their
RegistrationNumbercommunicated to them ontheExamination Admit Card on
the reverseof the draftand ontheapplication
forverificationofmarks.
No verification
ofmarks will bedonefor on-line examination
asevaluationiscomputerized.
