IBS provides academic
support andplacement assistance to students interested in pursuing the
two yearcampus-based MBA Program of the ICFAIUniversity. IBS
alsoconducts a one year residential Executive PG Program at
Hyderabad, which is
designed to help workingprofessionals enhance their career
prospects.
IBSAT 2013 Eligibility
Criteria:
A bachelor's degree from any
discipline, with 50%and above as calculated by respective
University.
Executive PG
Program
A bachelor's degree from any

and 3 years or more ofexecutive level work experience after
graduation
Work
experience
Applicants with work experience of 3
years andabove and of age 25 years and above are eligible
to apply for both the programsnamely MBA and Executive PG Programs. If
they are selected for both theprograms, they can decide at a later
stage which program they wish to join.

2013Application Form
Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT
2013can apply by any one of the following
metods.
(A) OMR Application
Form
Applicants who have purchased the IBSAT
bulletincan fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to
the AdmissionsOfficer, IBS Head Office. The attested copies of X, XII
and graduation markssheets are to be enclosed along with the OMR
Application Form. The students inthe final year of graduation may
enclose the marksheets up to the current
semester/year.
(B) Online
application
Applicants can apply online by filling
up theApplication Form available at www.ibsat.org and make payment of
Rs.1,100towards cost of IBSAT 2013 Bulletin, using Credit/Debit
Card(Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment
gateway.Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned
color photographalong with the Online Application. The IBSAT
2013 Bulletin will be sentto such applicants through
Courier/Speedpost.
IBSAT 2013
TestCenters
IBSAT 2013 will be conducted at
143 testcenters across India.The
applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT
2013.The list of all the 143 test centers is provided in the
instructions forcompleting the OMR Form Brochure
enclosed.
Please note that requests for change of testcenter will
not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of
nothaving enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be
allottedthe nearest alternative center. IBS Admissions Office reserves
the right to addor delete a few test centers depending upon the
situation. The same will beintimated on the website www.ibsat.org for
the benefit of applicants.
IBSAT 2013 Exam
Pattern
The IBSAT which is for 2 hours duration
is aimedto test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques,
datainterpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and
readingcomprehension. The weightage for the IBSAT is 25% in the
admission process.
General
Essay
All applicants are required to write an
essay inEnglish on a general topic not exceeding 400 words in 2 pages
immediately afterthe IBSAT test on the same day at the same
TestCenter.The time
provided for the General Essay is 30 minutes. It is to test
theapplicant's English writing skills, understanding of the topic and
logical flowin presentation. The applicant will be given 5 topics out
of which one topic isto be chosen. The weightage for the General Essay
is 5% in the admissionprocess. The applicants who do not write the
General Essay as required for anyreason will not be called for
Interview. However those applicants who submitGMAT Scores (in lieu of
IBSAT) will be required to write the General Essay onthe Interview Day
at Hyderabad.
Past Academic
record
While evaluating the applicants for
admissioninto the MBA Program, due consideration is given to their past
academic recordin X Class, XII Class and bachelor's degree program. The
weightage for the pastacademic record is 20% in the admission
process.

Process
General Knowledge
Test
All the shortlisted candidates will
have to takea General Knowledge Test on the day of the interview at
Hyderabad. The test
will be for a duration of30 minutes and will have 100 multiple choice
questions. This is to test theapplicants knowledge on current affairs
and general awareness. The weightagefor the General Knowledge test is
10% in the admission process.
Micro
Presentations
Each candidate has to make a
presentation on aselected topic for 5-7 minutes. The list of topics
will be provided in theselection kit. The weightage for the
Micropresentation is 20% in the
admission.
Interview
The interview is the final stage of
selectionprocess. The Interview Panel will focus on testing the
knowledge of thecandidates on the topic presented in the
micropresentation and understandingthe attitude, aptitude and
aspirations of the candidates. The weightage for theinterview is 20% in
the admission process.
