A.
Indian Citizen of any of the following categories willbe eligible to
appear in the MBBS/BDS
i) The
candidates,
who are bonafide residents of Haryana as per instructionsissued by the
Chief Secretary to Goverment Haryana
Chandigarh.
ii) The
children/wards (if parents are not living)/dependents of theemployees
of Indian Defence Services/para-Military Forces belonging to
HaryanaState at the time of entry into service as per their service
record.
(Such candidates will
submit a certificate in the proforma given in Appendix'E' from the
Officer duly authorised by the Army/Navy/Air
Force/concernedpara-Military Forces Headquarters, as the case may
be).
iii) The children/wards
(if parents are not living)/dependents of Ex-employeesof Indian Defence
Services/para-Military Forces belonging to Haryana State atthe time of
entry into service as per their service record who retired fromservice
on or after first April of the preceding year of
admission.
(Such candidates
will submit a certificate in the proforma given in Appendix'M' from the
Officer duly authorised by the Army/Navy/Air
Force/concernedpara-Military Forces Headquarters, as the case may
be).
iv) The children/wards
(if parents are not living)/dependents of Ex-employeesof Indian Defence
Services/para-Military Forces belonging to Haryana State atthe time of
entry into service as per their service record, provided thecandidate
has studied 10+2 class as a regular candidate in a
recognisedinstitution in
Haryana.
(Such candidates will
submit a certificate in the proforma given in Appendix'M' from the
Officer duly authorised by the Army/Navy/Air
Force/concernedpara-Military Forces Headquarters, as the case may be
and also a certificate tothe effect that he has studied 10+2 class as a
regular candidate in arecognised institution in Haryana from the
Principal/Head of the Institutionlast attended in the proforma given in
Appendix'B').
B.
The candidates belonging to one of the categoriesmentioned above should
also fulfil the following minimum conditions to appearin the Entrance
Examination:-
i)
He/She will attain the age of 17 years or
more
ii)
The candidate must have passed both the following
examinations:-
Senior
School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education,
Haryana or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with atleast
50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and must
have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
individually in qualifying
examination.
The candidate must have come in the merit list prepared as
a result of the Competitive Entrance Examination by securing not less
than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the
Competitive
Examination.
BAMS
The
eligibility conditions meant for MBBS/BDS as given above from A to B
(i)and note of B
Shall apply. Remaining
eligibility conditions for BAMS are as
under:
The candidate must
have:
Passed Senior
Secondary Examination (12th Class) of the Board of School Education,
Haryana or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at
least 33% marks in each subject i.e. English, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology (Botany-Zoology) in the theory and practical separately and 50%
marks in aggregate of these subjects and pass in Sanskrit as an
elective core subject of at least 100
marks.Or
Uttar Madhyama of
Sampurnanand Sanskrit, vishwavidyala, Varanasi with
Science(Biology Group) and English.
Or
Any other examination recognised by
KurukshetraUniversity,Kurukshetra/M.D.
University, Rohtak as equivalent to (a) or (b) above with theprescribed
percentage of marks/subjects, as the case may be.
and
Must have been placed in the merit list
prepared as a result of the Competitive Entrance Examinations for

The

Request for prospectus
through registered post must be received in theoffice of Deputy
Registrar (Publication), M.D. University, Rohtak by sending acrossed
Bank Draft of Rs. 1250/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/BC of Haryana only) drawn
infavour of Finance Officer, MDU, Rohtak Payable at State Bank of
India, MDU,Rohtak, Rohtak Branch (Code-4734) failing which the request
will not beentertained.
2. Medium of
Examination
The
medium of Entrance Examination will be
English.
The question-paper
will be set in
English.
3.
Scheme of
Examination
The
Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper of three hours
duration.
The paper will
include objective type questions (45 for each subject)covering the
subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and
Zoology.
4.
Number of Questions and Maximum
Marks
There will be a total
of 180 objective type questions (45 for each subject of Physics,
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology).
The paper shall carry a maximum of 720
marks.
Only objective type questions will be included in the
Entrance
Examination.
5.
Negative
Marking
For
each correct response, the candidate will get full credit.
Eachincorrect response will be negatively marked and the candidate will
getone-fourth discredit for
it.
For example, where one
correct response/answer is awarded four marks then incase of an
incorrect/wrong answer the candidate will be awarded minus one
mark.
