S dt. 28-7-2005 and GR of even number dt. 12-1-2006 hasdecidedto conduct Common EntranceTest for getting admissionin DegreeEngineering, Diploma/Degree Pharmacy as well as Medical CourseafterStd. XII Science Stream. Gujarat Secondary and Higher SecondaryEducation Boardhas been assigned to hold the Common Entrance Test,Board has preparedan Information Booklet and Application Form for GUJCET. TheBooklet andApplication Forms for Common Entrance Test will be available onpaymentof Rs. 250/- by Demand Draft from nationalized bank payableatGandhinagar/Ahmedabad in favour of ?Secretary,Gujarat CommonEntrance TestCell, Gandhinagar? from the followingDistributionCenters during the time and date prescribed below

Eligibilityof Candidates forGUJCET :

• Candidates who have passed HigherSecondary Certificate Examination Science Stream conducted by theGujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhingar orthe candidates who have filled din application form for appearing andEligible for appearing in the examination of Std. XII Science Stream/candidates going to appear in examination of Std. XII Science Stream inthe very year in which the candidates has filled in application formfor Common Entrance Test.
• Candidates who have passed Std. XII Science Streamexamination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, NewDelhi through the recognized school situated in the State of Gujarat orthe candidates who have filled in application form fro appearing in theexamination of Std. XII Science Stream through recognizedschool/candidates going to appear in examination of Std. XII ScienceStream in the very year in which the candidates have filled inapplication form for Common Entrance Test.
• Candidates who have passed Std. XIIScience Stream examination conducted by the Council for the IndianSchool Certificate Examination, New Delhi through the recognized schoolsituated in the State of Gujarat or the candidates who have filled inapplication form for appearing gin the examination of Std. XII ScienceStream through recognized school/candidates going to appear inexamination of Std. XII Science Stream in the very year in which thecandidates have filled in application form for Common Entrance Test.
• Candidates who are theheirs of the officers/employees who are basically from the State ofGujarat but performing their duties in other States as theofficers/employees of Central/State Government, Military Forces or theBoard/Corporation governed by the Central/State Government, who havepassed Std. XII Science Stream examination conducted by the HigherSecondary Education Board situated in the State in which they areperforming duties or the candidates who have filled in application formfor appearing in the examination of Std. XII Science Stream or thecandidates going to appear in examination of Std. XII Science Stream inthe very year in which the candidates have filled in application formfor Common Entrance Test.

Other candidates who areeligible to get admission inthe said courses as per the admission Ruleframed form time to time by ?JointAdmission Committee for ProfessionalCourses?. Medical College, Ahmedabad ? 380016foradmission in Medical course, who have passed Std. XII ScienceStreamexamination or the candidates who have filled in applicationinform forappearing in the examination of Std. XII Science Stream orthe candidates goingto appear in the said examination
