All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam (AIIMS)

AIIMS was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring to gether in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50%in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology& English
(ii) The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (Seventeen) years
Prospectus-cum-Application Form
By Post The Prospectus-cum-Application Form of AIIMS 2010 can also be obtained by Speed Post/Registered Post by sending a written request with an account payee Bank Draft for Rs. 1050/- (Rs. 850/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of "M.B.B.S. Entrance Examination-2009" payable at New Delhi.
