SearchPad, a Satyam product, was developed in response to the need for managing the explosive growth of users, web sites and published information.
SearchPad is an intelligent desktop Internet search tool that provides fast access to desired information. A powerful neural network engine with an advanced AI component allows for dramatic decrease in the 'Search Process' time and increase in search efficiency.
The most significant benefit SearchPad offers is its role as an enabler of web knowledge sharing. This tool has a unique filtering and classifying mechanism to extract desired information by allowing the user to specify rules for accepting and rejecting documents. Additionally, a user can train the tool by rating documents and providing feedback. An intelligent back-end allows SearchPad to remember the user's interests and preferences. This knowledge base can then be distributed and shared amongst team members through reuse and export facilities.
